Capturing life - creating art

One of my favourite pastimes is looking through old family photos of me as a child. Having my own children revived my interest in photography. Photographs are important. They tell stories of children growing, new homes and annual holidays, connections and achievements. Regardless of the size of your family, I would be happy to capture your unique relationships.

 

You are in the right place if you are after amazing memories, candid natural moments, details and stunning landscapes. The most important thing for me is to capture who people are, not just what they look like. To achieve that, I rarely pose families, or tell them to say 'cheese'. I would describe my style as a mixture of documentary and fine art.

The way I photograph is often intimate and personal. I love to capture raw emotions and connection between people. In your session I will take time to get to know you, do my best make you feel at ease and help you engage with each other. All I have to do then is watch the magic of human connection unfold and capture it with my camera. 

 

During Covid-19 pandemic I offered socially-distanced doorstep family photoshoots to raise funds for Hotwells Primary School. Some of the pictures from the project are included in the Family Gallery
